Adelaide City shared the points with White City Friday night in Round 2 of the South Australian PlayStation4 National Premier League.

Both sides took to Adelaide City Park determined to leave the ground with a win, displaying some incredible strength and stamina through the duration of the game despite the hot conditions.

White City started the game strong however possession quickly shifted to Adelaide City and 5 minutes into the game Nicholas Bucco took advantage of a penalty shot and gave his team a leading start to the match.

The Adelaide City boys played strongly and continued holding majority of the ball possession until midway through the first half, when White City’s Hermann Fombason scored an equalizing goal.

The black and white’s stamina and strong defensive tactics were evident throughout the game, giving White City a run for their money.

White City’s Nikola Mileusnic scored half way through the first half, giving them a lead however it was short lived, as Nicholas Bucco struck again finishing the first half at 2 a piece.

During the second half both sides worked hard at keeping a good defence and avoiding a goal that could put either one of the teams ahead, but the determination of Adelaide City came in handy.

 Minutes after the second half started, Nicholas Bucco scored another great penalty goal, giving them once again a lead over the opposition.

Just as the game was about to end White City’s Mileusnic scored again, finalising a draw between the two teams.

White City Captain Michael Keens noted the game showed some positives.

"We didn't play as well as we could, but recognising Adelaide City is one of the toughest teams in the league, it wasn't such a bad game, seeing we drew away from home" he said.

White City now host Adelaide Blue Eagles at Frank Mitchell Park in their first home game of the season while Adelaide City travel to South Adelaide on Sunday.
