WAAFL defeats Tasmania

WAAFL v Tasmania

The West Coast Eagles U23 State Amateur team had another win on the road on Sunday with a 64 point win over Tasmania at Aurora Stadium in Launceston.

The second game of the interstate trip provided the players with similar weather to the first game as they battled cold, wet and windy conditions.

It was a fast start by the WAAFL Team as they wasted no time getting on the scoreboard. Three goals in the first quarter and another five in the second quarter left them up by 41 points at the main break.

It was enough to give them the victory as the Tasmania team only managed two goals in the second half.

Jayden D'Vauz was voted Best on Ground for the WAAFL Team while Luke Salomone was voted Best on Ground by the Umpires.
