A lovely sunny Sunday morning saw over 90 people attending RANSA’s Christmas Breakfast on the 10th of December, the morning after the AWE flag raising ceremony.
The morning started at 7.30am for the volunteers, preparing the infamous mushrooms, sausages, bacon and eggs, train smash, baked beans, croissants, fresh fruit and Christmas cake!
Champagne and orange juice were prepared in the Whaler Bar along with the very sophisticated coolers. Tables, chairs and umbrellas, the Whaler Bar and Rushcutter Room were all swiftly set up by volunteers, ready for the guests at 9.30am.
The breakfast went down like a treat and then Santa and his Helper made a special appearance – coming in from the water on RANSA One and greeted by the many excited kids on the dock. The kids had the opportunity to let Santa know of their Christmas wishes and were given a little something special for the day.
Jeremy was lucky to win the delicious 2 hams in the raffle – supplied by our very generous RANSA Supporter – Bill Wilson, Farm Fresh Foods Paddington. Thank you Bill for your ongoing support at RANSA.
A very special thank you to all the volunteers who came so early to set up, who were there all the morning and some to the very end – we couldn’t do it without you.
And thank you members, family and friends for your support at another successful RANSA event – hope to see you at next year’s Christmas breakfast.
