Blinking Billy 3 March 2016

by

Firstly a big thanks to all of the volunteers both on and off water who helped with the running of last weekends Optimist, Sabot and 29er State Titles. We have received very positive feedback and this is a reflection of the effort you have all put in. Thank you.
This weekend is the second of the two 'State Titles' weekends, with the Cadet, Flying 11, Sharpie and Paper Tiger States. There will also be regular club racing in the afternoon and this week it is a DSS Pennant which will be the first two races after lunch.

There will be a BBQ on Sat afternoon and the weather is looking pretty good, so hang around and enjoy the late afternoon sun on the grass while the sailors pack up their boats.

Also as we will have lots of visiting boats this weekend, please make sure you take extra care moving boats in and out of the compound.

It is important to note that Mark boat and Rescue boat duty this weekend are again all day. Boat crews need to be on the water by 9:30am, as the first warning signal is 10:30am on both Saturday and Sunday. Last weekend there were a few late starters and we had sailors waiting to get on the water. Please make sure you are early.
