Commodores Update
This Saturday marks the last club racing day in this calendar year, the announcement of the Cadet Tillett team including team captain for the upcoming nationals and the much anticipated arrival of a big bearded fella in a red coat.  Some post racing catering will be provided by the club and of course the usual refreshments will be available at club prices to help wash them down.
I would like to thank all the volunteers that have contributed to a very successful first half of the season and wish every member a wonderful festive season.

Christmas Drinks and Nibbles

Christmas Celebrations at SBSC
You are invited to the Sandy Bay Sailing Club Christmas drinks and nibbles on Saturday 13th December commencing at the end of the day’s sailing (4:30pm – 6:00pm).

For catering purposes please RSVP to Emma Hamilton atemma.hamilton@bigpond.com.au by Thursday 11th December, or sooner if possible.

Father Christmas will hopefully be in attendance to distribute presents. Traditionally boat helms and crews provide a small gift for each other while someone (a parent) provides a small gift for solo sailors. Santa is also very happy to hand out presents to siblings who may be at the party. There will be a number of marked garbage bags in the canteen on the day of the Christmas Party to deposit gifts into.
