With the quieter winter months upon us there has still been a lot going on around the club preparing for the upcoming season.
- the upstairs floor has been resurfaced again, a constant battle against sand and salt water
- work is about to commence on the downstairs training room
- Inflatables are being repaired
- Burnell has a new 30 HP motor
- training Optis have been refurbished
- negotiations continue with the Hobart City Council for the lease extension to the compound
- a new 4.2 m inflatable has been ordered
- sailing calendar is all but complete, keep an eye on the website
I would like to encourage all current and prospective members to join us for the inaugural Code P Pre Season Drinks on Friday 22 of August. This is a great chance to catch up in a social atmosphere before the pace picks up as the season draws near.
