Commodore's Message

Congratulations to all sailors who competed in National Championships over the Christmas / New Year holidays, with some excellent results in all of our classes. Special mention must go to the six International Cadet crews and Rupert Hamilton in the International Optimist, for their selection in Australian Sailing Teams.

I'd also like to thank all of the volunteers who gave up their time to assist with the running of the Australian Sharpie National Championships at SBSC early in the New Year. From all the reports the sharpie sailors and their families had a wonderful time, and this is a direct reflection of the efforts of those members who gave up their own holiday time to volunteer. Thank you.

This weekend is the first Trophy Race for 2016 with Tackers and Grommets also recommencing. I hope to see many families down at the club on Saturday. If you are still on holidays, enjoy :),  we will see you in the coming weeks.
