Blinking Billy 26 November 2015

Commodore's Message

The last couple of weeks have been pretty windy, with some gusts over 30 knots recorded before racing last weekend. The race committee did a great job just getting in one race completed and it was pleasing to see all SBSC sailors handling the conditions well, and all the help waiting on the beach when sailors returned to shore.

This weekend is the PJ SUPER SERIES. Please remember you have to enter! No entry no race. The entry form is here:
Late entries on Saturday will attract a late entry fee (as per NOR).  Cash only will be accepted on Sat.

PJ Sailing Instructions will be loaded tot he website Friday evening, and given the number of DNF finishers not rounding the last mark last weekend, I suggest everyone takes the time to refresh themselves on the courses.

Unfortunately, I am away this weekend, but leave the club in the capable hands of Vice-Commodore, Felicity Allison. The wind is looking much lighter and hopefully everyone enjoys the PJ SUPER SERIES. There will be many visitors from other clubs around SBSC this weekend so please make them welcome.
