Commodore’s Message

A great night was had by those that attended our inaugural Code P Cocktail drinks.  It was great to see so many members attending this pre-season function, especially the members of the victorious Australian Cadet Team.

With Opening Day just around the corner please put aside some time for the Registration Day and working bee which is being held this Saturday 19 September.  All you need to do is come along after 9:00am and spend a couple of hours helping out, volunteers are the life blood of our club and many hands and smiles make light work.

Schedule for Saturday

  •    The registration desk will be open upstairs for memberships from 9 am - 12:00 noon along with order forms for the club merchandise.
  •    Working Bee between 9:00am - 3:00pm (please bring shovels, spades, gloves, willingness to do a little work, and a smile)
  •    Coaches/Instructors Briefing 11:30am in the Training room

A sausage sizzle will also be run downstairs toward the middle of the day. The canteen will have coffee and muffins all day.

What's coming up soon

Sat 19th Sept - Registration and Working Bee.  Come along from 8.30-12 noon to register and help set up the club for the season.  Registration and coaching forms are available on the SBSC website for pre-filling out.  Coffee and muffins will be available in the morning plus people can bring along their sailing odds and sods for selling or swapping.  Merchandise orders can also be made.
