Hi everyone, 

It’s an exciting weekend coming up and SilverFans won’t have to wait long for their summer Netball fix, with the first match of the Netball Quad Series beginning at 1.30am on Sunday morning, live on SKY Sport 2.

The Silver Ferns left for Durban on Sunday and will then continue on to England and Wales for their final matches. Check out this media clip from TV3 who talked to both Silver Ferns coach Janine Southby and newcomer to the Silver Ferns, Sam Sinclair  - watch.

It has also been a busy week for our NZ secondary school players who attended the National Development Camp in Cambridge, from which a squad will be selected ahead of the NZ Secondary Schools team being named. 

The office is in full swing organising the ANZ Premiership, Beko Netball League and also NNZ Council which is just around the corner. I am also pleased to say our 2016 Annual Report is now online - view. 

Happy long weekend to those who celebrate Auckland Anniversary Day, and for those that don’t, we can all look forward to Waitangi day celebrations.

DNA - Update to Sporty websites
Some Centres still haven’t made the change from Sportsground to Sporty websites. Support for the old Sportsground platform will finish soon so we encourage you to make the switch before the new season. It’s a simple process and instructions can be found here, or feel free to drop us a line on DNA@netballnz.co.nz.

DNA - Sportsground Workshops
The Sportsground 2017 Workshop roadshow kicks off next week but there’s still time to register your attendance by clicking here.

These sessions are a great way to kick off the season, get some tips and make the most of this great tool. We encourage all Centres, Clubs and Schools to attend. If you can’t make it to a session but don’t want to miss out, drop me a line on DNA@netballnz.co.nz and we’ll touch base.
