Brisbane City consigned Sunshine Coast to a winless season at Corporate Travel Management Stadium on Saturday night following a 4-1 victory over Fire.

The home side dominated from start to finish and were on the board early through Owain Thomas and Simon Biel, linking up to provide a goal each inside the first twenty minutes.

Thomas and Biel’s tandem display canceled out Jez Lofthouse’s instinctive equaliser and Sam Sibatuara then doubled the City lead quickly after Biel’s go ahead goal to end a frenetic opening period and allow City a 3-1 lead heading into the break.

Captain Greg King added a penalty after the interval, in a half where City could easily have scored four or five.

The win for John Kosmina's side ended the season on a positive note despite missing the Finals for the fourth straight year, for the Fire it ended a forgettable season for the club who will hope to produce a far more positive 2018 season in the revamped PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland.
