Northern Fury wrapped up an impressive 5-1 win over Brisbane Roar Youth at AJ Kelly Park on Sunday afternoon.

Kyren Walters opened the scoring when he slipped behind the Roar defence and finished with a stunning long-range shot.

Fury kept the goals coming with midfielder Corey Waples getting on the scoresheet with a penalty in his 100th game.

Jarrod Green bagged a double to bring his season tally up to eight.

The win is Fury's seventh of the season, a drastic improvement on their winless 2016.

Fury will take on Brisbane Olympic at International Park next round, while the Roar will face Brisbane Strikers at Perry Park.

52’ -GOAL TO FURY - Green flicks the ball past Freke, securing a comfortable win.
