What They Said

“Last week we copped a ten and there was no way we were going to get to that again. We knew it was going to be a tough game but especially in that second half the girls dug in deep against the Gap and actually started to get frustrated. We had patches were we would play well and then get frustrated and drop off a little bit. Overall I’m proud of them because slowly they are starting to turn a corner when it comes to these tough games.” - John Blanco, Redlands United Women coach

“Heading into this week we still tried to focus on our own game, attacking through the mid and attacking out wide. We had a game plan and we tried to implement it on the field. We pulled some of it off and we still need to work on some things but overall I think we did well. We all push each other and with the likes of Megan (Price) and Ruth (Blackburn) in the middle picking up the spirits of all the girls helps us all and we work for each other.” Jessica Dillion, The Gap FC Women
