Moreton Bay United have confirmed ex-Sunshine Coast FC star striker Jacob Fulluck for their PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland 2016 squad.

The 18-year-old striker is Jets’ third signing of the PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland off-season and joins the club on the back of a break-out year for Fire - topping their goal scoring returns with 10 goals in 22 appearances.

Fulluck had trialled with Hyundai A-League club Central Coast Mariners in recent months and reportedly garnered interest from a host of PlayStation 4 NPL New South Wales clubs.

However, he said he was delighted to pin his future to the defending PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland Premiers and Champions for the 2016 campaign.

“The success of Moreton Bay United was a big help in my decision to make the move and the coaching staff who I hope can help me get to the next level,” Fulluck explained.

“It was hard to crack into the starting 11 last year (at Fire), but I was given my chance and I kept it.”

Fullock’s speed, scoring record and ability to play wide or in the middle will add to Moreton Bay United’s attacking options.

He is expected to fill the hole left by the departed Charles Mendy, who was recently confirmed by community club Peninsula Power for their Brisbane Premier League season.

Jets Technical Director Adam Piddick said despite Fulluck’s young age, he will be a prominent figure in the first team set-up.

“He’s a good, young player looking to go to the next level. Just the type of play we’re looking for at Moreton Bay United,” Piddick said.

“As a coach and a club we want to help players make the next step. Jacob will certainly add to our attacking threat,” he concluded

Fullock joins former Lions FC midfielder Alex Janovsky and ex-Olympic FC defender Matt Byrne as the only confirmed members of Jets’ 2016 squad.

Jets were confirmed this week as one of three PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland clubs that will compete in the 2016 Macron Cup pre-season tournament, hosted by Peninsula Power.
