AGM Notice reminder
The FCQ AGM is scheduled to go ahead at the YWCA Hall in Robinson Streeet, North Rockhampton, from 10.30am, Sunday, 22 January.
The post below from zone President Jeff McArthur relates to the original postponement of the 18 December meeting.
Please be advised that due to there being only 9 confirmations of attendance at this Sunday’s proposed AGM and 6 declines, the Executive has acted to postpone the AGM from this Sunday 18-12-2016 until Sunday 22-1-2017.
This will also ensure that all clubs have had sufficient notice and hopefully be more likely to be represented in order to properly conduct the meeting; in other words, ensure we have a quorum at the AGM.
Because of this being the Christmas and New Year holiday period, we have allowed more than 28 days postponement, instead of the usual 7 days for adjournment for the AGM.
Please can you confirm by email to the FCQ office of your Club's attendance by 18-1-2017, for the Annual General Meeting now scheduled for 22-1-2017.
Notice of FCQ fees in relation to registrations for 2017 will be circulated to all clubs on Monday 19-12-2016.
