Westfield FFA Cup: Round 7 result
Rockhampton team Frenchville travelled to Cairns on 11 June for Round 7 of the regional qualifiers for the FFA Cup. Although they lost the game 4-2 against the FNQ Heat, our local lads gave a great account of themselves taking an early lead in the game and clearly surprising their more fancied opponents. With a reasonable showing of green in the crowd the team gave an impressive showing of themselves, especially considering last year's lopsided result at the same stage. All the best to the Heat in the next round and for Frenchville it's time to concentrate on the local competitions. There's always next year!
