BDAFL Strategic Plan 2018-2020

After a successful 2017 season the Black Diamond AFL has unveiled the leagues Strategic Plan 2018-2020.

The plan, which was delivered and accepted by the clubs at the Delegates Meeting in July, covers the Black Diamond AFL "five pillors" which include:

- Strong Management

- Competitive Football

- Healthy Clubs

- Facilities

- Partnerships

Included in the Plan is the continuation of the Board's policy for competitive football and an increased Black Diamond Cup competition, whilst the need for a single governance model covering both senior and junior is also included.

BDAFL President, Wal Bembic believes the plan is vital for the continued growth of football in the region.

"The plan has been developed with the view towards achieving Strong Management, Healthy Clubs and Competitive Football". The Board made some tough, and not always popular, decisions this year and undoubtedly more will be required as we continue to move forward" Bembic said.

"It is great when you visit the clubs and see how bouyant they are, not just about the present but also the future".
