Wed Day 5: 2 games, recording 1 win and 1 loss for the Wolfpack.

In the first game the team played great, disciplined and attractive Basketball! We won the game 55-40 against Northern Tasmania, with a lot of team work and exciting gameplay.

Game 2 was unfortunately a little more disappointing against the Townsville Heat, our depth has been challenged due to some injuries, it feels a bit like we are playing with the walking wounded, however we are resolute and determined to fight and record more wins.

3 more games to go to round out the tournament, and we are hoping for 3 W's to finish strongly and proudly.

Sat Day 1: Arrived in Sydney, unfortunately had a 2.5 hour wait for the rental cars but we remained positive and excited about what lay ahead. Finally resolved and commenced the drive north up to Newcastle. Settled in when arrived and the team had a hearty meal of pasta - the essential carbo load!

Sun Day 2: Hair done and big smiles for the official team photos followed by a short, sharp training session to blow the cobwebs off! A relaxing afternoon followed and a healthy dinner for the boys to refuel whilst Head Coach Mitch Greenacre and Team Manager Kristy Geel went to the technical meeting for the tournament.

Mon Day 3: Early wake up and breakfast as the team had the opening ceremony at 9am in Maitland - very cool. First game of the Tour was at 1:30pm so we travelled back to the accommodation in between with some Subway for lunch.

First game against NT South Suns, 24-4 first quarter lead and then got through some structure bringing our defence back to work on stopping them using the shot clock violations.

Finished the game with a 79-20 win. Headed back to the apartments for recovery dinner and an early night.

Stay tuned for the results of Games 2 & 3 played today (Tuesday)
