NEWS: North Geelong Warriors launched second Soccer Mums’ program in the region last Friday night

NORTH Geelong Warriors last Friday launched the second Soccer Mum’s program in the Geelong region, following on from the success of the inaugural program which is currently being run by Geelong Soccer Club.

The Warriors are the first NPL club to host a Soccer Mums program, which is an initiative by VicHealth, FFV and Melbourne City FC to get mums active in a fun way instead of just standing on the sidelines.

FFV Soccer Mums Project Manager Jen Willmott attended last Friday night’s session which attracted a total of nine participants and was run by North Geelong ‘soccer mum’ Nicole Krasic, whose three boys all play MiniRoos football for the Warriors’ community affiliate Elcho Park Cardinals.
