2023 Mini Kings and Kings Academy are back for term 4!!

We are pleased to announce that Mini Kings and Kings Academy are about to start again. Registrations are open for Mini Kings (to begin Wednesday 18 October). For Kings Academy fill out the Expression of Interest form now to help with our planning of sessions. Kings Academy sessions will start as soon as possible in term 4, but we need a minimum of 10 players for a session to be viable – the more early expressions of interest we have the more sessions we will be able to run at the start of term.

Mini Kings (for new players aged 6 to 9)

Mini Kings is back again and welcomes new and returning players. Packed with fun basketball activities for 6 to 9 year olds, Mini Kings is the ideal introduction to basketball for young players. Each session will be a combination of developing basketball skills and playing games that use these skills. 

Time:               Wednesdays 3:45 to 5:00pm at Kingborough Sports Centre, court 1

Begins:            Wednesday 18 October for 8 weeks

Cost:                $96

Ages:              6 to 9 years

Kings Academy (for players 10 and above or more experienced younger players)

Are you looking for somewhere to start playing basketball

or

are you looking for somewhere to keep your hand in now the season is over?

THEN, the KHBA Kings Academy is for you:

• For age-groups U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18
• Weekly training sessions, finishing with a game/scrimmage
• Focus on developing individual skills and team play fundamentals
• Cost $80 for 8 weeks
• All sessions at Kingborough Sports Centre
• Starts as soon as possible in term 4
• Sessions will be one hour each between 4 and 6:30 pm – specific times will be decided as registrations are known

• As numbers become clearer we will add days and times and groups – we aim to keep groups small (around 15 per court)
