Basketball Tasmania is proud to present the next free development opportunity for referees, technical officials and Match Managers, the 2022 Basketball Tasmania Referee Convention #2.  

 

The 2022 BTAS REF-CON #2 will see a free 2-day event including opportunities for members of the Tasmanian basketball community to advance their training and accreditation through development courses for referees, score-table officials, statisticians and Match Managers!!

A developmental referee course designed for individuals of all levels looking to gain a deeper understanding of the game and improve their abilities. Topics will include understanding unsportsmanlike and technical fouls, refereeing as a process and refereeing techniques. Individuals will be required to attend 1 x 2-hour & 1 x 3-hour session.

Have you ever wondered how basketball stats are captured on game day? Now is the time to get involved and be active within the basketball community! 

 

This course is open to anyone who is interested in becoming a statistician or any current statisticians who have yet to become qualified. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the game and receive a formal qualification that could lead to national and international opportunities.
