3x3 Competition now open for individual and team registrations

The KHBA 3x3 competition has been delayed by a week but will now start on Monday 2 August and Tuesday 3 August. You need to register by Friday 30 July to play next week.

3x3 Competition

A fun and exciting format, 3x3 is a great way to get into playing basketball. With smaller teams (we recommend teams of 4 so you have a sub but you can get away with 3) it is an opportunity for new players and teams to get involved, and particularly the chance to run separate girls competitions.

Also, with shorter games you get to play a number of different teams each night. Depending on numbers you will get 3 or 4 10 minute games each night. As the competition progresses teams will be graded so that you end up playing teams at your level – so don’t worry if you are new to basketball. As the competition is only for 3 weeks it is a great way to see if you like the sport.

The competition will run in the following age groups – grades 3/4, grades 5/6, grades 7/8 and grades 9/10; and on the following evenings:

  • Monday – High School boys and girls
  • Tuesday – Primary School boys and girls

Cost: $120/team for the three weeks. This works out at $30/player based on 4 player teams. This is payable at the first week.

If you don’t have 4 players to make a team yet – don’t worry, let us know how many you have and we will try to help you make up a team.

To register a Team use this form. (Use this form if you have 2 or more players. If you need to have more players we will try to connect you to others looking for a team.)

To register as an individual player use this form. (We will try to match you up with a team looking for players.)

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
