Shoalhaven Basketball is proud to announce that Kennedy’s Tours are back on board as the major sponsor of the 2019 Spalding Waratah Senior Shoalhaven Tigers Representative teams.
John and Lyn Kennedy of Kennedy’s Tours have been long serving sponsors and supporters of Shoalhaven Basketball Association for over 40 years, in particular the Tigers Senior Representative teams, supplying luxury coaches and mini buses for the teams to travel safely around NSW when competing in the Spalding Waratah competitions.
Season 2019 Shoalhaven will boast three teams again in the BNSW Senior competitions with the return of the Division 1 Men and Women and last year’s Division 2 Youth League Champions which have now been promoted to Division 1.
Waratah Committee member and Head Coach of the Youth Men’s team Scott Balsar said: “It’s absolutely sensational to have Kennedy’s Tours back on board for Season 2019. As our major sponsors, John and Lyn have been great supporters of basketball in the Shoalhaven especially with our senior teams. It’s just fantastic to be able to have our teams transported around the state in the luxury of a coach or minibus under the supervision of a professional driver. We are extremely lucky to have Kennedy’s as most other associations and teams have to drive their own cars to games it reduces the costs to our players and families, which allows us to focus on other areas that need financial attention to make our season successful.”
“So on behalf of SBA and all the players and staff involved with our three teams we want to thank Kennedy’s Tours and John and Lyn for their generous sponsorship once again,” Balsar said.
The 2019 Spalding Waratah Season is set to tip off in early March and all three teams are deep into their preparation with the Youth Men and Division 1 Women set to play pre-season games on the 23rd and 24th February at the Tigers Den.
