CONGRATS TO MARLISSA HOWARD

Marly has been 1 of 6 umpires selected to attend the NCZ Umpire Talent Development Camp in Dec. Fantastic effort and a just reward for your hard work over the season and also on Sunday Marly. We look forward to hearing how it goes and also what learnings you can bring back and introduce into the centre.

Congats to Ann Hay for taking out the Umpire of the year award on Monday night and Greg Barbet the Bench Official of the year. Awesome stuff you two. Well deserved.

CONGRATULATIONS TO...

Clare Green for acheiving 100% in her NZ Theory test in September 2014...WOW!!

Jess Fisher for being named U15 Umpire of the Tournament at the Marjorie Jenden Tournament held over Queen's Birthday weekend from 1-3 June 2013 in Paraparaumu.

Marlissa Howard named as U15 Umpire of the Steffensen Tournament held at Palmerston North on Sunday 9th June 2013.  Geoff Howard and Jess Fisher also received an Umpire Certificate of Merit for the U15 grade while Bella Anastasiou received an Umpire Certificate of Merit for the U17 grade.

Ann Hay and Gareth Fowler from the Hutt Valley Netball Centre appointed as umpires for the grand final of the College Netball competition between Tu Toa and Mt Albert Grammar School held at Te Rauparaha Arena on Monday 17th June 2013.

Shannon Davidson appointed as one of the Bench Technicians for the grand final match of the 2013 College netball competition and also named as a Bench Technician for the U19/U23 Age Group Championships at the ASB Sports Centre in Wellington from 15 - 18 July 2013.

Emily Stonehouse, Lagi Tuimavave, Marlissa Howard and Mike Gray who passed their NZ Theory exam in June 2013.  Thanks to Ann Hay who facilitated the NZ Theory classes in preparation to sit the exam and Jess Lea for supervising on the night.

Brett Lineham for passing his Zone Theory exam in June 2013.  Thanks to Kerryn Greaves who contributed her time and knowledge to facilitate the theory classes.

Amelia Wheeler for passing her Zone Theory paper in August 2013.

Jennifer Wray and Lockie McLaren for receiving Umpires Merit Award for their duties performed at the Lower North Island Secondary School Championships held in New Plymouth from 2nd to 6th September 2013.  Jennifer was appointed to umpire the B Grade Final and reserve the A Grade Final.

Ann Hay for being appointed to the Grand Final at the Lion Foundation National Champs 30th Sept to 4th October 2013 between Otago A and Hamilton along with Gareth Fowler from the Hutt Valley Netball Centre.  Also Paul Smith for being appointed to umpire the 5th/6th playoff match as well as named Reserve Umpire for the 3rd/4th playoff. As a result he has also had his NZB Badge endorsed.

Ann Hay who was appointed in the role of Reserve Umpire for not one but both of the Australian Diamonds vs Malawi Queens test matches on 16th October in Wollongong and 19th October 2013 on the Gold Coast in Australia.

Jess Lea who attended the New Zealand Secondary Schools Champs held 7-11 October 2013 and umpired consistently throughout the week to be appointed Reserve Umpire for the 3rd & 4th play-off match and umpire the 5th & 6th play-off.
