COURT IN THE BAY Netball Tournament (originally Ron Giorgi Tournament)
This annual tournament used to be timed around the first or second Saturday in September but was moved to the off-season and renamed Court in the Bay since in 2016.
Nimon Court in the Bay is a two day Netball Festival, run by Hawke's Bay Netball and the focus is on FUN. Nimon Court in the Bay targets those 18 years and over, womens, mens and mixed netball teams. The festival will be based at the Hawke's Bay Regional Sports Park in Hastings and we envisage a village style atmosphere, with merchandise/apparel on sale, food stalls, a bar with alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, tables and chairs, marquees, music via a dj and possibly a band, other services such as massage, nail painting and much more. Other fun activities will be part of the festival to keep everyone entertained and busy.
Nimon Court in the Bay is an annual event which we expect will grow year on year. The Napier and Hastings Councils support this event and are pleased to be able to showcase Hawke's Bay to all the visitors Nimon Court in the Bay will attract.
