Corporate support for the GBBA to be announced
In 2011 during the Ghana Women's National Basketball Team's qualification and participation in the Womens Afrobasket 2011 in Mali, the GBBA through the efforts of some faithful individuals within the Ghana Basketball Community was able to secure a couple of Corporate sponsorships which made it possible for the team to prepare and travel to Bamako.
Through similar efforts this year the GBBA iwill soon to be the recipient of one of the highest corporate support for basketball in Ghana in recent years. The support is to aid the Ghana Basketball Association adequately prepare for it's Under 18 Men's Qualification tournament to be held in Abidjan, Ivory Coast from the 30th - 7th July 2012. The Announcement will be officially made together with a presentation at the head office of the benevolent Corporate Sponsor. The name of the company will be announced tomorrow after the presentation. The GBBA is very grateful and humbled by the efforts and support it has got in these times when the association is struggling to put things right and build a new image and future for basketball in Ghana.
