All Eyre Peninsula leagues and the SANFL have contributed to a plaque to be located at Centenary Oval Port Lincoln to commemorate the exceptional service to football and the community by Don Mc Sweeny.
Don was a driving force of Eyre Peninsula football and sport for many years and was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2012.
A true gentleman, all in football are grateful for his lifetime contribution.
