Harcourt is preparing for its round one clash with local rivals Campbells Creek on Sunday which shapes as being a blockbuster clash. Thanks to the help of the Lions, we take a look at how the team is shaping up ahead of their match.

The Senior team will be coached by Paul Chaplin and Samuel Gale. This is the first Senior coaching experience for the dynamic duo. Pal has been with the club for most of his Senior and Junior career while Samuel is enjoying his fourth year at the club since crossing from Castlemaine.
The Lions farewell Darby Semmens, Luke Walters, Harry Mulqueen, and Sean and Joel Smith who departed over the summer. They welcome Ben Leech, Stuart Hunter and Jake Ede into the team.
Harcourt didn't enjoy its best season in 2016, finishing 10th. It is hungry and determined to bounce back and expects to play finals; and improve in all areas on and off the field.
Jake Ede is one young star to look out for. He joins the club from Marong. He is a tall, quick player with good skills, can play in any position and is showing experience well beyond his years.
Nathan Britton is a key player to watch out for. Britton has taken on the role of coaching the Reserves team, and this highlights his great leadership around the players. He is yet to miss a training session and is in peak condition ahead of the season proper.
Britton is a natural forward who can lead well at the ball and is solid at ground level. His added fitness this year will see him spend time forward and in the midfield where required.
The Lions believe that Natte Bealiba is one of the teams to look out for. They are strong and look ready to make the next big step in 2017.
There is much to get excited about at the Lions this year and supporters will expect great things.
Netball
The Lions are the best placed it has been in recent times. They welcome Kiara Perry, Tamara Farrnetball and Shelby Thatcher. The key is that it hasn't lost any players; showing that all players have a buy in to the success this year.
Kathie Teasdale will coach in her sixth season at A Grade level. Her experience and knowledge of the game is invaluable. She expects the team to be success this year.
Maddie Farrell is one of the young stars to watch. She is one of the Under 17s who has been training hard on her pre-season fitness and has the potential to shine among the Senior players.
Carly Wilkins is a key player to watch out for. She has returned to the court this year fitter and stronger than ever. She has great speed, has explosive read of the play and will win the team more games.
Harcourt believes that Navarre is still the key team to watch out for.
