MWTA Member Protection from Bullying

MWTA is committed to providing an environment that is free from bullying. We understand that bullying has the potential to result in significant negative consequences for an individual’s health and wellbeing, and we regard bullying in all forms as unacceptable at Manly Touch and in society in general.

MWTA will not tolerate abusive, discriminatory, intimidating or offensive statements being made online. Frustration at a referee, teammate,opposition players, coach or sporting body should never be communicated on social networking websites. These issues should instead be addressed in a written or verbal statement to the Secretary of the MWTA.

All players, coaches, officials at MWTA are bound by Touch Football Australia’s ‘Member Protection Policy’ and are reminded to conduct themselves appropriately when using social networking sites to share or discuss anything which relates to MWTA.

If there are incidents of bullying on or off the field that are attributed to you, your team and associated with MWTA in any way, penalties will be imposed which may include but not limited to loss of competition points, team disqualification, and player suspensions at both local competition and/or representative levels.
