NSW Touch Football Network is looking to start up a new division in this year’s Vawdon Cup tournament. This will be a Premier Inclusion League for players with disabilities to be able to play the game of touch football with some modified rules. Manly Warringah Touch Association is partnering up with NSW Physical Disability Rugby League to enter a team into this exciting new division.
This division is still very early in the design phase. Here is some information that we know so far.
- 6 rounds and a final (Starting predicted August 5th 2016).
- 4 teams to start with. Manly Warringah, Hills Touch, Western Suburbs and Penrith/St Marys.
NSW Physical Disability Rugby League currently have 4 teams across Sydney where they play rugby league but the tackling is a mixture of touch and tackle depending on shorts colour worn by the player.
