MWTA COMMITTEE ANNOUNCEMENT

 

 

 

 

Manly Warringah Touch Association (MWTA) would like to thank the members that attended our Annual General Meeting last night.

Members were presented with our 43rd Annual Report for 2017/18 which included reports from the President, Treasurer, Senior Representative Director Page, Junior Representative Director and Referee Director. It also highlighted some of the Club’s key achievements and community engagement activities for the past year. There were no special resolutions or notice of motions.

At the AGM, Mrs Sue Jones was nominated for Life Membership of MWTA. The members voted unanimously to endorse her nomination. Congratulations Sue, this is a very well-deserved award.

After four years as President (and prior to this three years as Vice President), Graham Knights has stepped down from the position. Graham’s contribution to the club has been invaluable and we cannot thank him enough.

MWTA would like to introduce and congratulate our new Executive Committee members:

· President – Ian Kalms
· Vice President – Stuart Geros
· Vice President – Kate Perrett
· Treasurer – Mel Scranage
· Secretary – Elizabeth Forrest

As per the MWTA Constitution, the General Committee Members such as Senior Rep Director, Junior Rep Director, Competition Director, Referee Director, Development Director and other Management Committee positions will be appointed at the next Executive Committee Meeting.

MWTA would also like to thank Daniel Rushworth and Matt Kiddle from NSWTA for attending and answering some tough but important questions regarding the future of the game, we very much appreciate the time taken to attend our AGM.
