Collingwood All Stars announce recruitment of US import Precious Roberts to Big V Women’s team
The Collingwood All Stars are delighted to announce the recruitment of US import Precious Roberts – a highly talented 170cm point guard – to their Big V Women’s team for 2020.
From Jacksonville Florida, Precious most recently played professional basketball with the Jacksonville Lady Panthers from 2016 to 2019 (Eastern Conference, WBDA League). During this time, Precious was a member of the team that won the 2017 Conference Championship.
During her time with the Lady Panthers, Precious averaged 14.3 points per game and 4.3 assists per game. Her inside shooting percentage (2fg) sits at around 60%, while her outside shooting percentage (3fg) sits at an impressive 41%.
All Stars President Tony Corr said Precious would be a fantastic addition to the All Stars Big V Women’s team.
“Precious is a highly talented basketballer and we expect her to help our Big V Women’s team make great strides in 2020,” said Tony.
Coach Bruce Robinson believes Precious will bring great strength to such an important position in the team, and provide good team balance.
Precious said, “I am very excited to be here, and be a part of something great. With hard work and faith, comes great opportunity. I’m looking forward to a very successful season with the All Stars”.
