When Steve Bazzo passed away very quickly from an aggressive form of Melanoma, his young family was left with large medical bills.
The Bazzo family thought their private health fund would cover Steve’s cancer treatment. Unfortunately, they discovered too late it is considered an elective on some health fund policies.
“Please check your health fund policy TODAY”.
I had the pleasure of having Steve in my team. Bazz was one of the best trainers I have ever worked with. He was the face of CapeSkills who welcomed new starters into the company and took them through their training. Bazz was never comfortable failing an employee but he knew his job was to make sure our employees were safe. I had many talks to him about “Getting a bit more mongrel into him”.
Its hard for a manager to lose a team member. As a team we can’t help Steve, but we can help support his family.

Most employers today provide PPE and uniforms for employees, but the one thing we all have to buy is SOCKS. There are 5 types a wool sock (like the explorer) a work cotton sock, 2 footy socks and a basketball / netball white sock
