Saints in your city - story by the AFL NSW
Don’t miss your chance to catch up with last year’s grand finalists, the St Kilda Saints, when they visit Sydney on February five and six.
As a group the Saints will be flying all around Australia to get in touch with their members and supporters. The Saints had a phenomenal season last year where they won 19 games straight, had five players make the All-Australian team and went on to play in the grand final – only to fall short by two straight kicks.
With the pre-season well underway this year and another shot at the flag high on the radar, the Saints will be taking time out of their busy training schedule to visit their biggest fans.
Sydney will host an arrival cocktail party for the players on Friday February five at 6:30pm. New South Welshmen Lenny Hayes, Blake McGrath and Will Johnson, along with live-wire forward Steven Milne, former Sydney Swans premiership player Sean Dempster and new Irish recruit (Kerry's own) Tommy Walsh will be attending.
The Saints cocktail function in Sydney, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, will be held at Club Swans, 28 Darlinghurst Road, Kings Cross.
