VALE: Jean Lipscomb
We are deeply saddened to hear the loss of a Unanderra Hearts JFC icon and former canteen coordinator - Jean Lipscomb.
Jean sadly passed away peacefully last Thursday. She is a life member of Unanderra Hearts having been involved for 55 years and was still working in the canteen as recently as two years ago.
She is one of the founding members of the club helping establish it since inception from 1958. Jean was also heavily involved with the introduction of Wests Illawarra FC.
FSC and the football fraternity would like to pass on our deepest sympathy to Jeans family and friends. In fact, Jean's partner John is still on the committee of Unanderra Hearts today.
Jean's funeral will be held on Wednesday 13 July - 2.00pm Hansen and Cole - Northcliffe Drive, Kembla Grange.
