HEAD COACH FOR JUNIOR REPRESENTATIVE TEAM

The City of Sydney Basketball Association is looking for a head coach for its Sydney Comets Under 14 Women Green team for the 2018 representative season. The appointment is on a volunteer basis however the successful applicant will receive an honorarium.

All interested applicants should be aware that CSBA coaches are expected to:

  • Adhere to the CSBA representative coach declaration including a working with children check.

  • Hold a Level 1 or Club Coach accreditation or be planning to complete the course in the foreseeable future.
  • Meet the required twice a week practice session commitment and to be available for competition games on the weekend.
  • Be available to assist with representative trials in October/November (either mid-week or on weekends) and work with fellow coaches to select teams.
  • Be highly motivated, organised (e.g. plan practice sessions) be willing to work as a team and show a good work ethic.
