Information for Girl's Only Sunday Leagues

As part of the Whole of Football Plan (WOFP) we are also implementing the Girl’s Only Framework for the winter Girl’s Only Sunday Leagues.

We have tried to stay as close as possible to the Girl’s Only WOFP Framework, but there are some variances as we work through the logistics of implementing the Framework. For example, some game times are slightly shorter in some cases than what is recommended, to fit into allocated time slots on the artificial turfs.

You can download the Girl’s Framework here.

Please make sure you check the draw each week as there may be venue and time changes.
The draw is available on the Capital Football website here under the “Competitions” tab.

Grades 7, 8, 9 and 10 will be at Wakefield Park. Please click here to download the layout for Grades 7-10 at Wakefield. The goals are stored in the south corner of Wakefield 1 – as per last year could the first teams with games pull the goals out to set up the fields, and could the last games please stack the goals away in the corner again.

As per the WOFP Junior Framework, for 7th and 8th Grade there are 4 x 10 minute games and for 9th and 10th Grade there are 2x20 minute games. We do encourage all the teams to do the warm up as per the Framework, however we have not allocated specific time on the fields for this.

Grades 11, 12, and 13 will be at Nairnville most weekends and will be half fields with a 2 metre gap between fields.

For 11th grade, the first round will be a grading round with 1x50 minute game each week. We will then move into 2x25 minute games every Sunday for the rest of the season, as per the framework. 12th and 13th grades will have 1x50 minute game.

Results to be emailed to results@capitalfootball.org.nz
Results will only be published for 11th, 12th and 13th Grades.
