Jarryd Lyons goes pick 61 to Adelaide

St Peters JFC gun Jarryd Lyons has been picked up by the Adelaide Crows Football Club in the 2010 NAB AFL Draft.

Jarryd's father Ex-Melbourne Football Club Marty Lyons is a long serving committee member of the St Peters Junior Football Club and it is a fantastic achievement for his son to now be drafted to an AFL Club.

Jarryd is a terrifically quick player from the Sandringham Dragons. Great kicking ability, complemented by a strong grab and sky-high endurance. Averaged 21 disposals and kicked 23 goals in 16 matches with the Dragons this year.

On behalf of the SFL Board and Administration led by Wayne, David, Kingsley and Maree we wish Jarryd all the best in his very bright football future.
