HILLS CLASSIC TIPS OFF NEXT WEEK

Following a successful launch last BIG V pre-season, senior Men's coaches Ryan Rogers and Rick Vos are happy to announce the 2018/19 Hills Classic rosters which will be used as a club building and conditioning event.

The Senior Men, Youth League Men and U18/1 Boys teams will be spread amongst the four squads and play in a lightning three game competition.

 

The teams will be led by the following -
Cockatoo Rays - Capt/Coach – Nick Spicer
Monbulk Shine - Capt/Coach – Bill Winder
Upwey Heat - Capt/Coach – Callum Langmaid
Belgrave Blaze - Capt/Coach – Savin Lopez

 

The round robin format will be held over three consecutive Tuesdays with special league rules being -
* 4x10 Minute quarters with clock stopping for timeouts (1 per team per half) and the last 3 minutes of the 4th quarter.
* In the event of a draw a 5 minute overtime is played to determine winner.
* No zone defence allowed.

 

We encourage all junior players and families head down and mingle with the players as we have some more exciting announcements to come with the senior program committed to engaging and giving back to the juniors which will be announced in the coming weeks.
