The 14 – 3’s are a fantastic group to coach. With a heavy focus on development, competing and really enjoying their basketball the team graded well and made a really promising start to the season. Our defence was the key; getting stops and creating turnovers was generating good pace and ball movement offensively.
Unfortunately our last two weeks have been disappointing. Against some quality opposition we have lacked focus for periods of games which has led to a lot of basic errors and ultimately two defeats.
A productive week of training has focused the team and we are now ready to make amends this Friday against a tough Collingwood side – who beat us earlier in the season in the final seconds.
