Keep up your skills these school holidays with our upcoming Northern Basketball Camps at Diamond Valley. Camps will cater for both domestic and representative players.
Held here at Diamond Valley, the camps will be coached by the top end of our Junior Championship coaches along with our Senior Championship players.
Monday 23rd September Rookie camp: $60.00: SIGN UP
Our DVBA Rookie Camp is the best way for kids who are new to basketball to build their confidence and learn to love the game. Our coaches and senior players will take the group through basic drills and modified game situations to teach the fundamentals of movement, shooting and dribbling in a fun and safe environment.
Tuesday 24th September 3 v 3: $60.00: SIGN UP
Our 3x3 Camp is a great way for coaches and players to evaluate and improve on individual skill development. The fast paced game allows players to practice vital components of offensive and defensive play and learn to talk and cooperate with teammates under the ring. Now classified as an Olympic Sport, our specialist coaches & players will help teach the rules & key skills of 3X3, applying them to real matches that will be played throughout the course of the camp. Teams will be constantly mixed and matched to help players learn to adapt quickly to a variety of team situations.
Wednesday 25th September Eagles Rep Ready Camp Girls: $60.00: SIGN UP
This camp has been designed specifically for U12-U18 Girls that want to get an elite and comprehensive camp, that will prepare them for the upcoming Eagles tryouts in October! Players will get the opportunity to work on their elite ball skills, finishing & gameplay with our best coaches & senior players.
Thursday 26th September Eagles Rep Ready Camp Boys: $60.00: SIGN UP
This camp has been designed specifically for U12-U18 Boys that want to get an elite and comprehensive camp, that will prepare them for the upcoming Eagles tryouts in October! Monday 30th September Shooting Camp: $60.00: SIGN UP
Our October Shooting Camp is a day dedicated entirely to improving all aspects of a players shot. Coaches will run through drills focusing on perfecting the mechanics of a shot and improving accuracy from all areas around the ring.
Tuesday 1st October High Intensity Skills Camp: $60.00: SIGN UP
This camp is a day dedicated to individual skill enhancement! Players will learn to identify the main aspects of their game that need improvement, and our DVBA coaches and senior players will run through essential training techniques and drills to help them advance. Incorporating world renowned European training techniques, players will work on their understanding of efficient play, their use of on-balls and their elite footwork and finishing.
Wednesday 2nd October & Thursday 3rd October Back to basics (domestic): $99.00: SIGN UP
Designed for domestic players, our two day ‘Back to Basics’ camp allows players to focus on the most essential elements of any game. Players will learn the vital fundamentals and practice habits to succeed on court.
All camps are held at the Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre.
Supervision is available from 9.00am on all days. Make sure to bring along a basketball, drink bottle and lunch.
