DV COACHES INVEST IN THEIR GROWTH
On the middle weekend of the school holidays, DV paid host to a nationally recognized Basketball Victoria Community Coaching Course (formerly Level 1 Accreditation) on Saturday and Sunday morning - for a total of 6 hours of on-court instruction.
Being given the opportunity by Basketball Victoria, at short notice, to run the course and educate our local coaches - we put the call out to all domestic clubs to notify their coaches, and notified our Eagles representative coaches of this chance for growth.
The response was incredible, as we had over 20 coaches respond and dedicate the time needed to complete the course - learning teaching points, concepts and drills that will give clarity and enhance the growth prospect of their players.
Congratulations to our coaches that took part, and we salute you for investing time on getting better at the coaching craft - it all contributes to make our Association better.
Special thanks to our Eagles U14 Girls who helped out as demonstrators on one of the days.
