GOOD FRIDAY NORTHERN DERBY AT OUR HOUSE
Sometimes things are about more than just Basketball. Giving to those in need is not just about making a donation, it’s about making a difference.
Join us on Friday night, as this year, Diamond Valley will be hosting the annual Big V Basketball Good Friday Northern Derby against the Whittlesea Pacers on the 25th of March.
The night will feature a double header of the State Championship Women's game at 5:30pm, followed by the State Championship Men's game at 7:30pm.
A tradition that we began with the Whittlesea City Basketball Association 12 months ago to connect with our local communities to contribute to something greater and more important than just ourselves - we are proud to announce that all proceeds from Friday’s event will go towards the The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne, Good Friday Appeal.
Friday, March 25th at Diamond Valley Sports + Fitness Centre
5:30pm – SCW Eagles VS Whittlesea Pacers
7:30pm – SCM Eagles VS Whittlesea Pacers
Adults : $6
Children (17 and under) : $3
The Pacers hosted the event in 2015 and raised an incredible $2,470 for the Appeal. Can we raise the bar each year and be more and more charitable to those in need ? The benchmark is set. The Eagles and Pacers have come together for a great cause.
We welcome the Diamond Valley, Whittlesea and Basketball Victoria community at large to our house on Good Friday - let’s all take in a great night of Basketball and ‘Give that they may grow’ !
