“Being an inaugural member of this new and exciting league is great for the Diamond Valley Basketball Association, the shire of Nillumbik and indeed the local basketball enthusiasts and entire community. The NBL has done amazing things for basketball in recent times; partnering with Basketball Victoria to present NBL1, our own Diamond Valley Eagles Men’s and Women’s teams will compete in the Premier Winter Basketball Competition. This move further highlights the opportunity provided for younger players to progress through the pathway Australian Basketball provides.”
