Meg Crupi Joins the SEABL Eagles
The DVBA is proud to announce our very own Meg Crupi as a part of the SEABL women’s team for 2018.
Meg has been a part of the DVBA family from the beginning. Starting her career at our domestic club St Thomas Hawks, Meg thrived under her coaches and was very quickly identified as a junior representative player. During her time in the Eagles program, Meg also attended Box Hill Senior Secondary where her determination and competitive drive resulted in her being named captain of the senior team.
Meg was a regular NITP athlete and was also an emergency in the U16 and U20’s Victoria Women’s state team. After returning home from a college stint with the St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers, Meg will join her junior club at the elite level within our SEABL program.
“I’m very excited to have the opportunity to play SEABL and get better and experience a higher level of basketball. What’s even more exciting is I can do it at my junior club at Diamond Valley” Crupi said.
Head Coach Zoe Carr is looking forward to working with the 5ft 9 guard and thinks the development she will receive will be invaluable.
“Meg is hard working, determined and driven to improve. She brings hussle that you can’t teach in players and has good range. I’m looking forward to working with Meg to help take her game to the next level.”
