Big V Wrap Round 18
Round 18 was a mixed bag this week for our Eagles with our SCM finishing the season with a win, our SCW on the other hand fell short to the defending champions, Hume City Broncos.
Our SCW for the last game of the season travelled to Hume City attempting to defeat the defending champions of 2016. Unfortunately our women just fell short losing, 88 – 75, Kate Oliver and Kasey Burton gave it their all for the last game of the season combining for 45 points and 19 rebounds.
Our SCM finished on a high defeating Hume City on the road, 84 – 76. Our shooting beyond the 3 point line was the significant factor with 12 made 3 pointers shared between 4 of our men. Ray Sanders had a fantastic finish to his season with 30 points, 7 3 pointers, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and a shooting percentage of 81% from the field.
