SUPER SATURDAY COACHING SEMINAR IN JANUARY

Saturday 21st January 2017 is ‘Super Saturday’ !

The DVBA are hosting a bumper seminar of educational coaching presentations by some of the Association’s most experienced coaches.

Sharing their ideas, teachings and drills, 8 Diamond Valley presenters will have the take the floor to present clinics covering a variety of topics that will assist with your coaching knowledge.

We have International, National and State level experience both in the playing and coaching spaces of our sport on the billing – this is a learning opportunity not to be missed !

Ross Wignell  “Building your Shooting Technique”

- Former Vic Metro Head of Player / Coach development, former Knox SEABL Men Head Coach and former Vic Metro NITP Head Coach.

 

Jack Fleming “Guard Skills for playing Pick and Roll Offense”

- Vic Metro NITP coach, Southern Cross Challenge Assistant Coach and U/16 Boys Diamond Valley Head Coach.

 

Alan McAughtry “Defensive Pressure, Full Court and Half Court”

- Melbourne Boomers Assistant Coach, Australian U/19 Gems Assistant Coach, former Vic Metro Head Coach and Diamond Valley Director of Coaching.

 

Mark Alabakov  “Player Decision Making Training”

Simon Hickey “Planning and Running a Successful Practice Session”

Development Coach at Diamond Valley Basketball, former North Carolina Tar Heel and NBL Player.

 

The day will begin at 9:00am sharp, with morning tea provided during an intermission, and the seminar finishing at 1:30pm. Entry is $15 per person.
