BIG V WEEKEND WRAP

In Big V action this weekend, our Victorian Youth Championship Women put together a solid weekend of 2 wins, our Youth Men kept their in-form period rolling, whilst our State Championship Men and Women had results that they’ll spend the week kicking themselves about. Channeled the right way, you wouldn’t want to be the team that plays either of them this week !

Victorian Youth Championship Women :

Victorian Youth Championship Men :

D. Dunstan 20 points, 4 rebounds

D. Girolami 12 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal

 

State Championship Women :

Diamond Valley def. by Warrandyte, 80-70

A. Sharp 22 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal

C. Rosenthal 12 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 1 block

 

State Championship Men

Diamond Valley def. by Ringwood, 89-77

R. Vilmont 19 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist

D. Owili 14 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block

 

On Saturday night, 8:30pm is the tip off for the clash between our State Championship Women and the Bulleen Boomers. This game could shift the balance of the playoff picture – so it’s sure to be a hotly contested match up at the Valley ! Our Victorian Youth Women play beforehand at 6:30pm, also against the Boomers, then our Youth Men rock the Valley at 2pm on Sunday.
