7.05PM No Big Deal 49 def. by Greenhills Beavers 69

 

The first game of the night had no surprises, with the Greenhills Beavers winning comfortably against No Big Deal. The Beavers got out to a 10 point lead early in the first quarter and never looked back. They were able to share the ball well, resulting in 4 players hitting double figures for the game, led by Adam Moore’s 25. Ben and Josh Shaw were the stand outs for No Big Deal, with 11 and 10 points respectively.

8.00PM The Splashers 56 def. St. Mary’s 52

 

In a low scoring game, The Splashers were able to come from behind to beat the Sharks and continue their hot run. The Sharks led for most of the game, with The Splashers unable to hit from outside as often as they have in recent weeks. Former NBL player, Matt Shanahan, controlled the game and finished with 17 points. Bryson Norris also had 17 for the winners, while Mark Scherf put in 14 of his own for the Sharks.

8.55PM Redbacks 66 def. by Uni Hill 76

 

Uni Hill put in a big 4th quarter to ru away winners against the Redbacks. Lincoln Garfirth and Evan Solokidis combined for 56 of uni Hill’s 76 points, as the Redbacks seemingly had no answer for the pair. Uni Hill was slow out of the gates however, finding themselves down by 14 at quarter time. They were able to chip away at the lead in the second quarter, eventually pulling ahead after half time. Mark Herring’s 16 wasn’t enough to pull out a win for the Redbacks.
