U 14/1 Boys Diamond Valley

Our 14/1 boys have had a tough start to our campaign as we took until this year to qualify for VC. The team made a commitment being the most competitive team in the league, which has helped us match up against teams with a bit more size. This week we go up against a very strong Hawthorn Magic at CBS, who sits in the top 3 of our pool. The unselfishness of the team will need to be on display as our depth will continue to be a key to success for us. We are looking forward to another good hit out, and to continue our development as athletes and a team. Good luck to all Diamond Valley teams this week! GO EAGLES!
U14 /4 Girls Diamond Valley

The girls have really come together and impressed. The way they go about playing basketball with confidence and tenacity is great to see from the Grading phase to the Eltham Tournament. We had a great Grand Final win in the Eltham Tournament then to follow up and to be graded in VJBL 3. A great achievement for a 4th team.
Team spirit is the best I have witnessed. We have had a rough start to the season, 1 win and 4 losses. The losses within 5 points, so we are very competitive. Team has been working hard to close out games. We were lucky enough to utilise Dr. Dish, shooting machine at DV which girls had a blast.
This week we face McKinnon 2 a team that has beaten us in grading. Our girls will come out firing it will all come down to our execution on the night. Go Eagles!
